it's been barely 1 wk since i started to have a so-called appointment of Dy-OC and i'm already burdened with all sorts of sai kang to do..i'm not sure when or how, but somehow i just got dragged into this dinner that my squadron is organising for some big shots..something i had no idea abt previously coz it's only managed by the rest of the officers and not the PCs..in any case, had my TO turned up for the meeting right from the start instead of going to do some other things, i wouldn't have been tasked to take over him as the secretary..why did i even call my OC to ask whether i'm needed there in the 1st place????? argh!!! it's official : the more enthu u are, the more things u will be tasked to do..seriously, like what Jonathan say..there're lots of things that the training branch should be doing but all are been sub-tasked to us..really wonder what the people in there are doing sometimes..sighz..anyway on hand there are so many things i have to complete i dun even know where to start from..and most probably i will have to go into camp freaking early tmr just to finish up on this cue table that i'm been tasked to do coz my TO had this lecture to attend to..so in addition to the minutes, i'm doing the cue table for him too..what's next? in the 1st place i dun even know what the hell a cue table is..i dun even know whether it's spelled that way either..and according to what my CO had described to me..i'm never gonna get it ready by tmr morning which is what my OC wanted..argh!!! well..at least my TO's treating us to seafood for dinner tmr..hahaha..compensation!!! needa get some rest now and maybe wake up at 6 just to go back to camp to do something that i've no idea how to go about doing..and england lost 2-0..what a sucky day..

ok..been long since i last posted..haven't had the time to post often..partly due to NS committments and because of my PSP which i just can't seem to stop playing..haha..esp the game Monster Hunter Freedom..it's real fun to link up with other players and just go hunt monsters..hmmm..anyway the most important thing is that from now on i'm gonna work from 8-5! finally! no more shift system..no more staying in camp for around 52 hours and only get to come out for 20 hours..and that includes wkends too..not to mention public holidays do not apply for my job..really great to have such a change..more free time i guess..anyway i'm pulled out from the shift system coz we've got 1 extra pc now..so i'll be assisting my OC from now on coz he needs to cover our outgoing S3's duties too..hmmm..there are quite a few tasks that have been allocated to me already..a lot more than what i've gotten when i was still in the shift system..but at least all these tasks are gonna benefit the squadron so i should get a sense of achievement after completing them i guess..haha..
anyway had my 100m combat shoot test on Saturday..the criteria to be a marksman is for the whole detail to get at least 80% of shots on target..yup..combat shoot's different from ATP coz it's a team effort and not individual effort..anyway..my detail had 6 person..meaning out of 180 shots ( 90 in the day 90 in the night ) we'll have to get 144 on target..my detail actually managed to get 79 out of 90 in the day which was really good i must say..I got mine all on target btw! haha..stark contrast from ATP during when i failed..shucks..anyway my detail was really excited by the prospect of meeting the criteria for marksman which would have meant one more badge and 200bucks! so it was real sad that we were consoling one another that at least we lived the dream after the night shoot! lolz..the night shoot went terribly wrong for my whole detail man..due to the haze which reached an index of 150 then, it made the targets which were already hard to identify at night even harder to see..haha..in e end we only managed a measly score of 37/90, which was the lowest of all the details and we were the only detail who failed the night shoot i think..erm..did i mention that we got the highest score for the day? haha..the combat shoot experience was quite a good experience though i must say..it was really hilarious when one of the sergeants in my detail kept swearing everytime his target remained standing in the day when all our targets had gone down..
ok..guess that's all for now..you'll never walk alone people..
